Just act like you are her friend and nothing else, don't turn into a wuss and get nervous and stiff, every girl hates that and puts you in a awkward postion, try to be yourself, have a good time, make clean jokes to her, about her, ect...be funny, prepare some lines and above all make her comfortable around you/

why impress?
If you already have this gal as a girlfriend then it seems you have already done that. Take her out for a nice dinner and a movie.
Ask her what she likes and try to do it.
Just sit somewhere nice and talk and learn about her and she can learn about you.

Just spend time with them, take them shopping, they will love that, or take them iceskating or to a movie, it really depends on the age.
