I have not had a ciggarette in a half hour and im all ready feining {sp} What can i do to make the urge go away! Help!

My grandma, yes grandma was a big smoker and had to quit, she smoked forever and all the time. The only thing that helped her quit was a quote she kept with her that said, The urge for a cigarette will go away if you smoke one or not.
Maybe corney but it was completely true. Hope it helps.

Don't think about smoking. go do something, take a walk, anything but smoking. pray to God to help you. Telll yourself if you smoke you will die in 24 hours. stop thinking about it and eveuntually you won't want it. or try this approach. smoke nonstop for a day, everyday. don't stop till you get enough. keep going. baby don't stop. then wake up the next day and tell me if you aren't tired of ciggarretes.

I quit my caffine addiction back in September. I ran out one day, went through withdrawal, and decided I don't want to go through that again. Get through the initial cravings and withdrawal symtoms, and remind yourself what that feels like every time your crave your (insert addiction here).

i have given up smoking, so i am very glad to hear you have to. i highly suggest you get yourself a copy of "the easy way to give up smoking" by allen carr i think his name is. it was the biggest help ever. read it and you will be a non smoker by the time you finish the book.

brush your teeth go walking
chew gum get a rubber band put it on your wrist
get up and get busy anything to get your mind off them
throw them away, hide ashtrays good luck its hard but you can do it .
