the kind in the cooler. i also make my own onion dip with sour cream and onion soup mix.

Hiland French Onion Dip is marvelous. It's in the dairy cooler. Be sure and get the larger size, the flavor is addictive!

the homemade kind is so good you mix one 16 oz tub of sour cream with one pouch of onion soup mix. the sour cream can be fat free if you like I've even tried it with nonfat yogurt no one the difference. if that's to much sodium i got an idea from one my cooking mags mix 16 oz sour cream/yogurt with dehydrated onions garlic and onion powder and your choice of low salt bullion all of these have to mixed and let to mend together about two hours

How about buying the spice mix and adding it to sour cream? Even better.
