well first of all, make sure you're talking to her one on one face to face. (you won't want to scream this out to her in a room filled with noise and people). try to find a private place, with a nice setting.
i know im sounding kinda cheesy right now but this is just how i would imagine it.
next, talk in a calm voice and kinda lead into it, like make her laugh to set a mood.
then just say "i've always wanted to tell you that i've had this huge crush on you since [insert random time here]"
just end there, don't add the fact that you have a shrine with pictures of her in your closet, just yet.
and when you say this, look up, straight ahead and not at her face as if you're anxious to see her reaction (this will intimidate her). just act cool and give a gentle smile.
then find out what her reaction is from there.

How well do you know her? If she is a long time friend then love is possible. If you have just met her it is only infatuation and you dont know her well enough to love her.
Whichever it is, start by asking her out on a date and work toward girlfriendom. If you just come out and say you love her before you WOO her - she might think your looney. You love her - take the TIME to spend time with her and SHOW her that you care and want to make her happy. You can tell her later when you both feel that way and you will know when that time is when you get there. Then it will be perfect.
p.s. If she wont go out with you after several offers, then it doesnt matter how you feel - she isnt interested. Dont become a stalker - leave her be and look elsewhere.

No, you should not have your friend tell her that you like her!!! No No and NO. If you do that you will be sending the wrong kind of signal, she'll think you can't hold your own and you dont want that. You dont want a girl that you haven't even told you like thinking that you can't do things on your own. If your friends with her then take it slow but not slow enough for someone else to move in on her. Offer to take her to the movies and go places with her, when she needs someone to go do something or just flat out needs something be that man that's always there and she may even tell you she wants to date before you do! Hey bottom line is be yourself and she'll walk right into your hands! Good luck hope everything works out for you

The best way is show her respect and be polite like opening the doors. Be patient willing to wait. Holding hands and telling her you really like the way she does a certain thing may do more than just I like you. Liking someone is a very important step in any relationship before love and marriage.

You DO NOT tell someone else to tell a girl that you like her. It really does make you look like a schmuck.
Suck it up and tell her yourself. Be honest and open. If she rejects you, remember that it's only a little embarrassment and that it won't matter in a while - besides, if she can't admire you for asking her yourself, than she doesn't deserve you.

This is a problem for most of us guys because we don't want to look corny, or desperate. But on another note MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A VERY STRONG FOUNDATION OF FRIENDSHIP BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING.

Well - you could be daring and just go up to her and tell her that you like her... scary for you, but shows her you're not into games.
Or you could write her a note... or have a friend tell her for you...
Any of those works... or you could have a friend leak the news to one of her girlfriends... but thats getting pretty round about...

Okay..man..you must not have a whole lot of experiance doing this. Seriously..just tell her in peson. You'll be suprised of what she will say. Just take her out..something you both enjoy and can do it together...not sex man! seriously...not that kind of together. Then after just say what you have in common and then go onto how and why you like her..then BAM!...you in!
