Is it hard to say, 'I love you"?

I have been trying to tell a woman I love her for a few weeks, But I keep getting so nervous! For some reason I feel safer not telling her because Im scared of her response! What should i do?

Just tell her.I loved when my bf told me that,I got butterflys so bad and got really nervous because it was my turn to say it but after that it was a big sigh of relief.I'm sure you'll feel a big sigh of relief too,just get it off your chest.

They are three pretty heavy words.. There are some things you should check first though:

Do you really love her, or is this just lust?

How do you intend on telling her?

How well do you know her?

I can offer some advice on how to tell her though. Make it subtle, but easy to notice. I know this isn't the easiest task in the world, but a simple gift like a stuffed bear and and hallmark card can work out pretty well, just have "I love you" hidden in there somewhere, literally or not. Also, with it being close to Christmas, you have a good plus on your side, that is, if she isn't Jewish :\.

1. it is hard you say "I love you" but if she is usually really nice then you should bit the bullet and tell her.
2. If her response is like are you crazy? then tell her that your friend learned in church that we're all related and that you love her as a sister. I'm pretty sure that happened to me once, and i believed it so try it, and if it doesn't work now you have a back up plan.

I was dating my ex for a few months before I even told her that "I loved her". If you say it way too soon in the relationship she may look at you all funny. But if you two hit it off really well and you are all over each other laughing, kissing, holding hands, Sex, etc,. then tell her that you love her and she'll probably tell you the same thing back.

Well if you really love her you would go ahead and tell her before its too late. Not saying that she is leaving, but you never know. You dont want to wait to long to tell her, because she might be in love with you too. So tell her now, its better for her to know then to regret not doing so soon enough.

Yes it is hard to to say i love u but if u really like her u wouldnt be nervous but if u dont tell her she might just give up on u and u will never find out.One other thing if her reponse is bad o well it might take time to feel beter but u know wat they say theres more fish in the sea.And keep yo head high!

Well If she likes you the response cant bee any worse than "I think we are moving too fast" Thats all. tell her. I did the same to a girl that I liked but she hated my guts so that is completely different

and its not the end of the world if she doesnt say it back, she will pay more attention to you because you feel so strongly towards her.

try talikng to her first and be urself
if she gets a good vibe u'll by the way she always wants to be with u then u can ask her on a date and then say i love u
if she doesn't get a good vibe u'll know because she doesn't want t be with u and don't say i love u

maybe you're not ready to tell her? It's ok. It takes time. How old are you? You have to really know this is how you feel. Plus, I think it's harder for guys to tell girls this than girls to. This is because they are more action oriented.
