you'll never know if he really exists until your death.
but if you have faith..then..yeah..
to me, God is real.
and yeahhhh..he is real.
what he did for me?
he gave me life.
he gave me so many wonderful talents.
but he's teaching me a lesson too.
life's tough.

I was born again through the name of Jesus when I least expected it.
I was a liar. I am an honest man,
I was a thief, now I steal no more.
I was a blasphemer and foul-mouthed, now I am a worshiper of God,
I was hopeless, now I have great confidence in the future
I was a drunkard, I have been sober many years,
I was a drug addict, I have been clean with no desire to go back
I was sexually deviant, I live a chaste life
I was greedy and selfish, now I give away perhaps 30% of my income and have done this for years - cheerfully!
I was spiritually blind, now I see,
I was hateful and scornful, now really care about people
I was lazy, now I am industrious
I was fearful - Now I live free from fear
I was a coward , now I have courage
I could continue - but I don't want to weary you
I give all credit to the supernatural help I get from God every day through the comfort of the Scriptures and the power of His Holy Spirit.
I only wish and pray that others might come to know Him.
Peace to you !

Look around... Everything was created by God. Im Muslim and we say that people must balance between work and prayer. If you pray and work hard you will be rewarded more than praying 24/7. And if you ask for something and dont get it, then it is a test from God to test your patience. God wont grant everything you want, or it would be an easy life.

God has been so good to me. When my Dad died, I asked God to help me through, give me peace and he did! I have had complete confidence that my Dad is in heaven. When I have trouble sleeping at night, I pray until I fall asleep. I sleep better now than I ever did. Whenever life gets tough, I lean on my faith in Jesus and am comforted.
I know he exists because he has completely changed my life since I accepted him. I am kind, when I use to be petty and judgemental. I think of others instead of myself. It's a great life and I highly recommend it!

When the chips are down, there is a regression to magical thinking (eg if you're adrift on the ocean you'll resort to pleas for help from a magical helper). Some people never progress beyond magical thinking, meaning they are permanantly stuck in a worldview appropriate to children. It's really a fun place to be, but it can prevent seeking actual solutions to problems. If you want God to exist, simply regress to this magical world.

He saved me from eternal damnation. He chose me as part of the elect, not for anything I have done or would do, not because of who I am or was for I was once a wretch, someone who would never darken the door of a church. Only by His grace, mercy and love do I have the hope and promise of eternal life in Heaven. I believe this without doubt, I have sold out my life for this, and would willingly lay down my life for the name of Christ. I do not see it as "what has God done for me lately" thing, I serve Him, He does not serve me. If He bestows grace on me or grants a request, it is icing on the cake. Jesus paid the ultimate price for my sin, and if that was all that God ever did in my life, it is more than enough.

In my honest opinion, if somone believes in God then they should attribute everything and anything that happens in their life to God. Whether it be a "positive" thing or a "negative" thing in our eyes. Furthermore, i feel that if we TRULY believe and desire to follow Him, that there will not be ANY negative events in our lives. This may be confusing but this is how i see it...
It is easy for use to give God thanks when something that WE WANT happens, such as a job promotion, surviving a wreck, not gettin pulled over when we pass a cop and know we were speading... etc! but the second that something bad happens... like we dont get the promotion, or get in a wreck, or do get pulled over... we HARDLY EVER find ourselves thanking God; but rather blaming Him. Earlier, when i said that if we truly put all of our faith in Jesus, we will still be able to THANK HIM for the events that WE PERSONALLY dont want to happen because we know and should be focusing on that fact that our purpose is no longer to fulfill our lives and Earthly desires.
sorry, but to answer your question i kind of wanted to get that out... because a i feel that God has done everything in my life for me. He has brought me to my future wife (we're engaged) and i couldnt be happier and thank him enough for the beautiful person that she is (not referring only to looks). He has, for whatever reason He know its best, placed me back at my dads house after i just graduated from college and was not able to get a teaching job; i didnt want this to happen but i did what i could and this is how it worked out. i can look back and find MANY good things that have come out of this that i would not have had i gotten a teaching job right away. he has given me great friends, family, talents, .... and another day! he has saved my life several times. once by giving me the friends that i would need when i made a huge mistake in high school and had to come to terms with it... without them i dont know how i wouldve pulled through. he has allowed me to walk (techically also run down the road) after walking away from a totaled vehicle. with the driver side completely crushed and smashed, i was unharmed without the airbags deploying. he has given me my joys and my sorrows, my gains and my losses.
i guess the best question, for me... would be WHAT HASNT HE GIVEN ME.
If you ever wanna chat or talk about something, feel free to contact me!

Ok.... My religion doesn't have a "God", but a "Great Spirit" who is manifested in a number of Gods and Goddesses.
What's happened for me is that I've been able to recover from a number of addictions. My relationship with my older daughter has been healed. My entire life has been transformed from one of multiple psychiatric hospitalizations, year after year; estrangement from my family; disability and inability to work, to one where I'm starting my own business as a technical writer and editor. My children are able to depend on me. My family no longer wonders where I've gone, or if I'm even alive. My parents ask me to watch their house while they're away.
So, from psychotic drunken bum, to loved parent, respected businesswoman, responsible daughter. I'd say that's enough for me.

He has done many things for me, and yes, he is real!! For instance, my mom went to the hospital to have my brother, but an emergency C-section was needed, my mom's heart rate, and my brothers heart rate were both dropping A LOT and they didn't think either of them would make it, the nurse asked my mom if she was scared. & my mom just said, No because she knew God would get her through it...They both were fine. Sorry this was so long...
Best wishes!!

In short, He has given me HOPE. And that has helped me in more ways than I have room to explain. How do I know He exist?,because of FAITH. Another good question you could ask for the critics,,,What proof do you have that He doesn't exist?

He might have done lots of things, or he might have done nothing. It all depends whether he exists or not.
I love being alive, and if he's behind it, then I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful to anybody who's behind that.
