On any pair of addidas trainers their are 6 stripes on each shoe. Together making 12 stripes. These represent the 12 apostles of Christ right?

If Jesus were living on earth here and now, he might wear Adidas. I don't know if the 12 stripes would matter to him or not, but maybe he'd notice and get a good laugh, like you did.

It would make carrying that cross a bit easier for him.

If Jesus or anyone spoke out today and claimed they were the son of God they would face public ridicule (worldwide due to TV) and not even to holy of holy would believe him.

If you think about it that way, then yes, but I doubt Jesus would wear name brand shoes, he is not about being materialistic.
