A stray i took in 5 months ago has now stopped going out she nibbles her food and sleeps all day and night on?
my bed ,she use to eat a full can of food,she use to get into the cat nip now all she does is sleep,she looks like she is loosing weight,Help.I have no history on her.

she is going to the vet tomorrow Noon.just thought someone would have a clue to what might be going on,
Update,had to have the cat put down also the other one that arrived with it they both had feline aids so I couldn keep them with my other 5 they are negative..Im heart broken killing two pets in one day is unthinkable and very painful.

Im so sorry about that. You didnt have to have them put down though. You could have brought them to a local shelter that adopts out Feline Aids positive cats.

Sweetie find a new vet ASAP. If he finds nothing wrong and your cat is showing unnormal signs, he is not a very good vet. This has never happened before to me nor any friends but you say she has a lump? and spends about 90% of her time sleeping/hiding? that is very strange I have a 14 year old cat that is very active and likes playing with catnip. Also can you tell me where this 'lump' is located? I may be able to help you.

I'm sorry for your loss, but keep in mind they were lucky to be with you;someone that cared. They were loved and fed and adored.What could have happened to them if they didn't find you? You did the right thing. It's great to know there are people like you in the world making it a little better.

i just went through the same thing today lol does he sneeze not eating wattery eyes not intrested whats going on mine had an upper respritory infection a kitty cold the meds costed 15 dollars plus office visit sounds exactly the same they gave him amoxicillion and its amazing how fast it works and he was pretty sick and he started this mourning , this evening now hes more alert i felt so much better plz contact me let me know how the kitty is doing cinerella19772@yahoo.com happy holidays my thoughts are with you and your furry friend have blessed christmas
