i'm almost twenty...and my facial skin still breaks out like when I was fifteen! it's more sensitive that the rest of my skin (i've NEVER had a pimple on my neck, chest, back, etc) and if i even touch my face for too long, i'll find something there the next morning. it's not acne by any means, just annoying... i've tried everything. i have naturally pale skin ( my dad's family is irish) and i also have Hashimoto's syndrome, does anyone know ANYTHING that might help me?? please...it's getting a little annoying!
PS. i'm allergic to a chemical that's found in all of these: Proactiv, Acne Free, Nature's cure and other's of those sorts.

i also have very sensitive sin. does your face ever get really hot and red for no reason? i was wondering because mine does too. Try only using dove sensitive skin, with cool water, pat dry, and use cetaphil lotion. these are the only two things that don't irritate my skin. Try to avoid processed foods, starches with low nutrition like white bread, pasta ( whole wheat is okay though) potatoes, etc. i found my skin started getting better when the stress went down and i got enough regular sleep. Sleep is the best for it. Also, try taking a zinc supplement daily ( take with a meal or you get a tummy ache) this helps boost the immune system, bring down inflammation, and heals things faster. having enough zinc in your system will help prevent illness- even make you taste bad to mosquitos! Don't overdo it though- make sure you are only taking the reccommended dosage.

To avoid allergic reaction, try Aloe Vera gel. You can get easily from any GNC store.
It is a mild antiseptic and a natural remedy. You can even drink Aloe Vera juice. That should also help.
I have tried it myself and found it very beneficial.

The secret is to wash face good once a day, the key is to rinse with hot water to open pores and clean them, and then cold water to close pores so bacteria will not enter to form zits.
Aloe vera gel is excellent afterwards and prevents wrinkles.

People always comment me on my smooth skin. They always want to know what do I use on my skin? For the last thirty years I only use Dial Soap, that's right Dial Soap that you buy in the grocery store. Thirty years ago I had to take my son to the emergency hospital because something bite him on his knee. The doctor told me to wash his legs with dial soap. At the time dial was the only soap that had anti-bacterial ingredients in it. The doctor said that is penetrate down third layers to remove bacteria.

Eat a lot of fruits, have moderate fat, no sugar at all, no splenda.
Have a small cup of yogurt one hour before sleep, and don't eat anything after that. You can have two crackers, if you feel very hungry. Make lotions by mixing half water and half vodka, then clean your face every night with that lotion, before going to bed, with a piece of cotton.
It takes time to clean up.

I'm in my 50's and still breakout! See a dermatologist.
P.S.: I'm also Irish. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, tho.
