I know the answer to that one! I wondered the same thing until my doctor told me the reason. When it gets cold all of a sudden people congregate indoors, which spreads the germs more quickly.

And it has nothing to do with not wearing enough clothing when it's cold outside. It has everything to do with how close we are to other people and for how long. This is why handwashing is so important along with keeping your fingers away from your face!

Yes! The cold weather does contribute to the 'cold'. First, the temp difference b/t our homes and the outside are far more extreme in the winter time and this can aggrivate our production of 'snot'. Also, the cold weather does not allow people to take breaks outside so people tend to hole up inside and germs are spread much easier. Plus, it's the holiday season and people are constantly hugging and touching with their icky hands.

Germs, viruses, and bacteria are always there and active, but as some have said, the weather tends to WORK on us. We need to burn more energy to keep warm thus the body works harder. As the body works harder our immune system's work harder and have to continually ward off infection. With saying that some ware down quicker then others and is harder to fight infection, air-go a cold.

because of the fact human beings do no longer comprehend the adaptation between climate and climate, in simple terms like whilst human beings deny international warming exists in simple terms because of the fact it incredibly is chilly that day. international warming isn't getting a foul rap, as you stated. that is like asserting the deforestation of the rain woodland replaced into "getting a foul rap." international warming is severe, and is already putting off a chain reaction. A tidal wave starts off small, even though it gets larger.
