A bottle of wine has 5 serving, each is roughly equivalent to a 12 oz beer. So, about 5 beers. Wines range from 8-15% and beers from 3.2-6% so that is not set in stone. Your 12% bottle would be about 4.5 average beers.

It depends on the wine - and beer. Lager beers usually have more alcoholic content than light beers, but not always. 12% is about an average content in wine.

Some wines have a LOT more alcoholic content than others. Zinfandel wines tend to be lighter on the alcohol, than desert wines. You really have to check the label of each bottle.

beer is about 5% give or take, so it is about 2.5 times stronger. A skot of vodka, 80 proof is 40% alcohol, so beer is like 10 proof...so ounce for ounce, that is why 12 oz of beer roughly equals a shot of 80 proof liquor(1.5 ounces). Have one for me.

About two beers normally. Some beer is stronger and could make it less.
