This disturbs me so much! Its no wonder skeptics will look at us and brush us off. We act as hypocrites. Jesus said to "love your enemies", and what does the "christian" nation of america do (which has a "christian" president)? Bomb countries. Who are we to take the life of others?
And all this propaganda of pro-israel garbage. The whole idea that we must support Israel no matter what it does because they are God's people. When Israel was destroying lebanon, did God approve? I don't think so, and if you do, then you worship a god of war, not love! Come on christians, its time to change our actions and attitudes.....WE are the ones that make the skeptics all the more skeptical.

You are absolutely right. Christians are called to forgive. And furthermore how can one be pro-life and pro-war. It does not make sense at all. It is a contradiction in terms. Alot take the bible and twist it to suit their purposes. Like the gay thing. Jesus taught to love your neighbor, turn the other cheek - but all of those teachings go right out the window when somewhere in the bible it states a man with another man is an abomination. To them that is more important. Jesus meant for his love to be inclusive not exclusive.

The God of Moses is NOT the God of Jesus. The God of Moses is a warrior god, like Mars. The God of Jesus is a peace and love god, like Venus. In Greek Myth, Mars and Venus are married. In the Bible, similarly, the old testament is "married" to the new testament. War and Peace, killing and healing. The true Christian who follows Jesus does NOT worship the god of war. Thus, Christianity is not what it appears to be...

I agree wholeheartedly.
p.s. To all muslim haters. The Koran never says holy war is good. If you actually read the Koran, you would find that Islam is a peaceful religion. But, just like there are Christians that are hateful to Muslims, there are Muslims that are violent. We're just as human as they are.

are not you a Christian? the two way, Jesus meant to be like babies in that young ones are receptive to the observe of God. Scripture additionally states: a million Corinthians 13:11 whilst i became a newborn, I spoke as a newborn, I understood as a newborn, i presumed as a newborn: yet once I became a guy, I placed away infantile issues. -till Christ Returns God Bless

Because most Christians are rich conservative right wingers who want to protect their oil profits. What they really are is greedy hypocrites and give real Christians a bad name.

Yes, I found it incredibly disturbing that Jews, a people who arrogantly believe their morality and ethical framework is superior to that of the dumb "Goyim" around them, supported the slaughter of the Lebanese. It tends to validate all the anti-semitic stereotypes.
