Well you should wash your face once in the morning and once at night. Use soap and moisturizer. I use an exfoliant too to keep out blackheads and it keeps my skin smoother too. I also use a spot acne treatment that dries out the pimples before they are visible. Make sure to remove all of your make up while washing.
Also some dermatologists say that the things that you eat don't have any affect on your skin but really, truthfully, they do. Eat a diet that is on the healthy side but you don't have to completely cut out sweets. I know that if I don't eat well for one or two days or if I eat a lot of candy, or chocolate, or any dessert, I will break out the next day.
Anyways, try not to touch your face too much because that can cause oilier skin and trap dirt. Also, drink lots of water because it flushes toxins out of your body. Don't pick at pimples or blackheads either.

1. Drink lots of plain water.
2. Keep your hands/hair away from your face.
3. Keep your hand clean by washing them regularly using a good hand-soup product.
4. Eat less oily/fried food, Eat more fruits/vege.
5. Make sure you got enough sleep every night.
6. Avoid stress.
7. Never use scrub with acne on your face - it will spread the bacteria. Only use them when your face is acne-free.
8. Wash your daily before and after bedtime, or after outings - if the facewash makes your sin dry, it may not be suitable for you, find a good product, and use moisterizer.

There is no cure for acne. Wash your face in the morning and night and make sure your pores are clean. If you have extra oily skin you may wash during the day. But be careful, if you dry out your skin it will only send the signal to create more oil, which means more pimples.
Some things like Proactiv claim to work--and they do. But what they do is nothing that you can't do on your own with some clearasil and a healthy washing regimine.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action.
Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past!
Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Use a facial cleanser that works for you it may take several products for you to figure out what works it took me 2 years and what seems like a million different cleansers. Make sure you mask once a week. . be careful to not dry out your face. And for new pimples try something like Clearasil ultra, to dry them up. Don't pop pimples this will cause your face to scar even if it's not visible with the eyes it's scared. And make sure you was your face EVERYday at least once twice if possible. Good Luck.
Ps. Don't forget that a proper diet can help your skin as well.. .Drink lots of water.

There's no absolute cure to acne, especially if it is genetic like mine. But the most important thing to do is drink a lot of water, to flush out toxins and keep your skin fresh. Regular skin care is important, without overdoing it, though, which drys out your face too much. Try different skin care lines. I tried nearly everything--neutragena, noxema, old wive's cures, st. ive's, pro active, etc. The one that finally works that has made a huge and noticeable difference for me is Kara Vita, karavita.com Since using it, I get occasional blemishes, but no break outs, and my skin tone is more even. Everyone has commented on the difference, not knowing what my secret was. I HIGHLY reccommend it!

A yeast balanced body is the true secret to an acne free face. Acne, like athlete's feet and eczema can be caused by excess production of yeast (an organism that helps us digest food). It likes to overgrow in imbalanced bodies. So, when teenage hormones imbalance, acne can occur.
Check out www.hufa.org - the yeast link, for some basic information on candida - yeast - infestations.

Wash your face at least 2-3 times a day with warm water. Also, my doctor prescribed me BenzaClin. It really works. That over the counter stuff doesn't work for me. But yea, stay away from excess sugar.

Go see your doctor. He can prescribe antibiotics and an acne cream. It will clear up fast. I took both of my kids in and they both have clear skin now. Over the counter stuuf never works as well, I think its the antibiotics that does the trick. Good Luck!
