Make a fruit tray. This could be kept inexpensive. Most all stores run some sort of specials each week on produce. They also sell ready made fruit dips or plain vanilla yogurt works too. Stuff celery with peanut butter. If you line raisins up on the peanut butter they call it "ants on a log". Pretty corny but cute. It is like a 1950's thing. Popcorn is good cheap and healthy until you drown it in salt and butter. Hope that helped. Have fun at your dance.

Gaining weight is more than just what you eat! Exercise and metabolism play a huge role in it. Keep that in mind. If you are physically active, you can roll off those calories, metabolize faster, etc. If you are not physically active or walking at least 20 minutes a day as something, then stick with fruits and veggie salads. Again, physical activity supplemented with good eating equals greater metabolism to eat what you want. Wheat Grass Juice Powder is a great supplement.

A healthy salad (not iceburg lettuce) of roaman lettuce with a light dressing. Chopped chicken on top if you need a little meat. Fruit cup, juice, carrot sticks or other fresh veggies. Crackers, milker, etc. Basic food groups really. I packed my luck all through middle school and high school. I also packed sandwiches whenever i wasnt in the mood for salad.

I think a sandwich. It does not take much time to prepare, and you can fit most of the food groups into it. You should try taking a sandwich, some chips, and some water (flavored water if you like that), and that would probably be a light lunch.

Peanut butter on whole grain bread. The best lunch ever. Lots of protein to make you feel full, lots of bulk to keep you from getting hungry. You'll feel good all day and not get sleepy from over eating.

Salads are easy. You can put the dressing in a ziploc type bag and just add it whenever you're ready to eat!
