David was in a linen garment.
Michal, his wife was furious because he had removed his regal garments. She thought that he should never be in public without full regal dress.
However, David was dancing before the arc of the Lord, and had removed all his regal garments in submission to God.

Not David.
David's "dance before the Lord" is described in 2 Samue16:14.
This passage of Scripture may rank as one of the most misunderstood accounts in the Old Testament. Some seem to think that David danced practically in the nude before the Lord. But read the account in 2 Samuel 6 carefully: "And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod." It doesn't exactly sound like David was naked, does it???

I disagree with some of the answers here. David didn't dance naked his legs were showing because the length of his tunic and his wife, Saul's daughter peeked out of the palace windows and saw him dancing and despised him in her heart. She accused him of showing off to the maidens in the kingdom.
He never slept with her again and she was barren.

I think you are referring to king David. He wasn't completely naked , he was in his underwear.
