I am about to be relocated with all my family to the US (Cleveland Ohio).
How can I calculate how much of my salary will be left after all the necessary reductions (taxes, insurance…)?

This isn't possible to answer without a lot more information about your income, your family size, and the company you're working for.

You will pay income taxes, and the percent depends on how much you earn and the size of your family, among other things - the range on this percent varies so much it's not even possible to make an estimate - could be anything from zero, to over 30% if you have a very high income. Social security taxes will take 7.65% of your salary. Ohio has a state income tax, which also varies depending on how much you make.

Cost of insurance varies depending on your company, your family size, and what type of insurance you choose - you'll probably have a few choices.

If you're relocating for a job, you could ask the company's human resources department for an estimate. They might be able to give you a better idea.

Good luck, and welcome to the US and to Ohio.
