does he like me?

i know there's a ton of these kindof questions, but i like input for my specific question lol.
Ok so i was "aquainted" with this guy for about 4 years. This past year, wev'e kindof gotten to the point where wer'e like, yeah wer'e friends as oppose to " yeah i know him " thing is, I used to like him back when we were aqquaintences (sp?) and i told his sister and she said that he said that i was too shy. well since then, iv'e really become more outgoing..iv'e changed ALOT. And now, i know he considers me to be good looking and all, cause he talks about my looks with his friends and around me (when his friends are there) and flirts. I still like him, but im not sure if he likes me. He doesn't have a girlfriend, i was told he liked some girl but she's not talking to him or something. So point is, what should i do? He's invited me to the movies and stuff, but only with his guyfriends..he's not very flirty when its just me and him.

so in a nutshell:
a) in my unique case, how would i know if he likes me?
b) should i try to initiate something?

oh and btw im 17 and he's 18..so i dont really want to like, send him a do u like me note lol.

He just is trying to look cool by flirting. Its really insulting. But hey, try keeping your friend relationship. Or help him with a gf relationship w/ someone else

Yes he likes u he is just usin the other girl to get a reaction from u (like a spark of jelusy or somthing) but just let him know u like him and if he does not take it from there then u should look else where!
