How do u disable the update thingie in winamp?

When you open it up it opens a seperate window asking you to downloaded the update.

Open Winamp menu, then go to:
Options -> Preference -> General Preferences
Find the check box "Check for new versions of Winamp at startup"
Dont check it.
And try.
