Pagan, New-age, Native American or something else is fine. I'm going to be moving soon and am looking for a good spell to bless my new apt. I know some of the herbs, but always looking for more. I'm pretty open to any kind of magics, but no black magic please. Thanks, be nice and no BS.

First of all, magic is neither black nor white. Here are somethings you can do to bless your new place.
1. Have the first things you bring to your apt be a new broom, a loaf of bread, and some salt. I also usually bring a jar of honey. The broom and salt are for purity (sweep the apt and scatter salt to purify the space) and the bread is so that you will never go hungry. The honey is for sweet times (you can scatter milk and honey and annoint your doors and windows).

2. Bring noisemakers (bells, etc.) and bring and play them throughout the apt in order to scare away any spirits you don't want hanging around.

3. Invoke a spherical shield around your apartment and put extra holds on the doors, windows, toilets, sinks, and mirrors. These places are portals.

4. If you can, put a nail or a knife under the threshold of your front door (point facing out). This will make any people of ill will who come to your home very uncomfortable, and they will not wish to stay.

5. You might also want to set up a spirit guardian/egregore for your home. Be sure to feed it and treat it with respect.

I would recommend a good smudging, using maybe sage and sweet grass or a combination of frankincense and myrrh, while walking through each room in a clockwise direction. After wards you might light a few scented candles throughout the home, choosing scents that impart positive energies. Cinnamon is a good choice and easy to find at this time of year.

Blessed be. )O(

I burn sage to clean the negative energy out of my house,It works very well. Its what the native americans used for the same purpose.(should be burned on a regular basis like once a day)You can find sage at a all natural health food or new age store near you.I also found an oil called "house blessing"at one of those new agey stores and ive seen something just like it at the health food store,it seems to work well.If you cant find any of thease places just do a seach on the net for house blessing oil,im sure you will find something cool.good luck with your new place

I've always been fond of the single scent incense (I highly favor dragon's blood resin, as I consider it my patron herb) and quiet focus of one's will to be the most effective magick.

Pastors at churches of many denominations (Roman, Episcopal, Lutheran, etc.) have a "book of occasional services" which includes "Blessing of a dwelling."
