Oscar De La Hoya.

This would be a good fight but not a great one. Winky's defense and southpaw style would give De la Hoya lots of trouble just like Pernell Whitaker did. Throw in the fact that Winky is bigger than Whitaker and can punch harder (though he is not a knockout fighter) and Oscar could be in for a long night. Oscar would try to use his speed and try to go to Wright's body and penetrate Winky's tough defense. Winky would just pop that right jab and keep his defense nice and tight and throw an occasional straight left to change it up a bit. I don't see Wright knocking Oscar out because Wright doesn't have a lot of power and he doesn't really plant his feet and rip power shots, plus Oscar has a good chin. I see Wright taking a comfortable lead early in the fight as Oscar tries to get to him and figure out his style, then Oscar rallying a bit in the middle rounds to draw closer but Wright winning the last few rounds with counter punching and smart boxing to win a close, but unanimous 12 round decision over De la Hoya.

WRIGHT - W 51 (KO's 25) TF 55 - W pct 93% - KO pct 45% - wins over Trinidad, Mosley[2], Quartey - KO'ed by none
As of 2005 he was #5 ranked pound 4 pound current fighter

DE LA HOYA - W 38 (KO's 30) TF 42 - W pct 90% - KO pct 71% - Chavez, Whitaker, Vargas, Gatti, Quartey and Chamacho - KO 'ed Hopkins - #75 ranked fighter
Won 1992 Olympic Gold medal at Light wt
Titles at 130, 135, 140, 147 and 154.

Oscar has beat people at larger weights. This could be a very boring fight, where both fighters don't do enough to win. Wright is a counter puncher who won't force the fight. De La Hoya will try to box and not mix it up enough. This bout win end in a majority draw and the boxing public will not clamor for a rematch.

Winky would win. His defense is tremendous. If Jermaine Taylor couldn't hurt winky, oscar damn sure couldn't. Winky fights similar to B.Hop who won by knockout over oscar. Winky would just block and counter De La Hoya the hole fight. It would be a good fight though.

Anthony R. has got this one right bro,Winky would turn the fight into a stinker with his safety first,no mistake fighting style, plus he is the naturally bigger guy than Oscar.Oscar is more of a fav of mine than Winky,Oscar has really put excitement into boxing with his great fights and fight anybody attitude whereas Winky is too good for his own good thus he has been in so many stinkers over the years but the guy is obviously great and would win this fantasy matchup in snooze fest,he could nearly turn it into a similar fight to what he had with Tito.

This is a tough fight for either guy especially at 147. The fight is tough for Floyd because of Oscar's speed and finishing ability added with the fact that Dela Hoya is the naturally larger man.The fight is tough for Oscar considering the fact that all his losses have come too the hands of Boxers Mayweather Pacquiao Hopkins Mosley he even showed problems with a faded Pernell Whitaker. I seriously think that Mayweather at his peak is like "Sugar" Ray Leonard the way too beat him is mentally and with a Good Stiff Jab. Hearns Jab and Duran's mental warfare had a tremendous effect on Ray and I believe Floyd is the same way. The only way Oscar is going to mentally effect Floyd is by having Floyd Sr. working his Corner nobody else is going too do it. Having your father working for the other team has too be hard too overcome. I think If Floyd Sr. works Oscar's Cornor three things are granted. 1. Oscar is in Shape and dosen't fade. 2. He uses his Jab Mayweather Sr. has always said his son has problems with Jabs. 3. He fights on his toes being able too Move in and out. IF he can do all of that I think he forces Floyd into an agressive fight and hits him with some Big shots and wins a Split decison. The only real difference from Oscar of 2007 that Floyd fought and Oscar of 1999 or 2000 is weight and speed. Stylistically he hasn't really changed without Floyd Sr. I see Mayweather winning this fight for the same reasons he won the other fight. Oscar has problems with Boxers, he fades late in the fight,he crumbles when the spotlight is on, fast hands give him problems. Chances are without Floyd SR. he comes out Flat Footed gives Floyd problems early and fades late losing a decsion.

De La Hoya has a good chin. I don't think Winky would knock him out. Winky's style is not one which he sits down and wants to bang with his opponents. I do think Winky beats him with his defensive counter punching style.

winky, because the way oscar fights, and winky defense, none of the punches would go in,knockout,no way, since neither has prove to be a REAl knockout puncher.......winky decision(of course if oscar doesnt slip couple of thousands to be rule on his favor, like rocky vs barrera, thats another story.)

Winky would not win by knockout, but he would win a decision. He simply more crafty.
