Hey guys,
When I sing, my notes get cut off because my breathing isnt long enough. I dont think im reaching my potential because I always feel suffocated and stuff. Are there any good exercises that will help allow me to be able to breath longer and deeper breaths?
Thank you!

Well if you don't smoke, don't start but if you do quit it. Then you can also try yoga which along with normal exercises it includes breathing exercises.

If that doesn't work try normal meditation. You must control your breathing with this sort of thing and slowly you can breath in at for so many seconds, hold, and let go the same amount. It will slowly but surely increase your capacity.

I know it sounds foolish but hold your breath for extended periods of time and also try to hold notes for extended periods of time. Each day try to get add a little more time.

In singing it is important to remember that the volume and length of the sound is best when it is coming from the diaphragm, not the lungs. You have to push from the stomach--if you can't feel it you aren't doing it right.
