Luk 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

Joh 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

The division is between God's Word and everything else. For example; traditions of men, rituals of men, doctrines of men, fables of men, fallacies of men and etc.

Because not all who talk the talk may walk the present walk; be they Roman Catholics, Protestants or Other.

God only exists in history as a promise to the present. He only exists in the future as prophecy to the past. Discrimination comes from a mind out of sync with God and a heart void of present revelation in the mind of Christ. Where do you stand?

"Christian divisions" cannot have faith. Only people can have faith. People are separated from the Spirit now as they were separated by the Spirit then. The opinions of men have no standing with God.

Are there truly "many false prophets" who "are gone out into the world"? Jesus said there would be "many false prophets" who should arise "and deceive many" (Matt. 24:11). The Holy Spirit made a similar statement (1 Jn. 4:1). As Peter said, "there were false prophets" among the people of the Old Testament, and even so "there shall be false teachers among you" (2 Pet. 2:1).
But how can this be? If, as many people believe, everyone's religion is equally valid and acceptable, how can there be "any" false prophets, let alone "many false prophets"? The fact that the Bible says there shall be "many false prophets" implies that not everyone's religion is pleasing before God. Even in his own day, the Lord Jesus did not receive the worship of each person. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matt. 7:21). "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men .... Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted shall be rooted up. Let them alone; they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch" (Matt. 15:8, 9, 13, 14). The "blind leaders" were false prophets, false teachers.

It's not ok and why it happens I don't know. I only want to be right according to God and what other people might say about me is not as important as what He thinks. Christians need to stick together, especially with all the madness that's going on all over the world.

God Bless and Merry Christmas.

Since we uphold the priesthood of all believers (cf. 1 Peter 2:1--10), we hold that every believer has the right to interpret Scriptures for themselves. Such a position leads to many interpretations of Scripture. Those who hold similar interpretations congregate with like-minded believers.

While, evangelical Christianity embraces many denominational groups, certain sects simply are too far off the beaten path to be recognized as Christians, even though that it their claim.

The Bible warns of heretical teachers (false teachers) and tells us to both expose and avoid them. That's why, simply put.

Division based upon the "small stuff" needs to be repaired. Otherwise, we fall prey to the false god of islam.

We all need to focus on the fact that we have a common bond...and not worry about the METHOD of baptism. (merely used as an example).

It's not okay, and true Christians do not act like that.
