I believe we should be there. I have seen other posts that talk about being lied to about the reasons for going into Iraq and rushing in. We waited more than 10 years to finish the job that George H.W. Bush started. In the meantime, Saddam continued to get bolder and bolder while members of the U.N. got wealthier and wealthier as Iraq's people starved and died of illnesses that could easily have been treated had they gotten the medical essentials they were supposed to be getting.
Although it appears as chaos now in Iraq, it is not as bad as the media would have us believe. Yes we are losing anywhere from 2 to 10 soldiers a day from insurgent attacks. But that is a drop in a bucket compared to the 100+ per day during Vietnam, WWI and WWII.
Do I believe we should be in Iraq? Yes. Do I want our troops to come home? Absolutely. But not until the job is done and it is a pretty safe bet that we won't have to go back in another 10 years and do this all over again.

No one else in the world is rich enough nor are they power full enough to cater to the needs of the Iraqi people. Its only the US that has the man power and the resources to secure a safe environment for the people of Iraq.Non of the issues that are flaring up into violent fights in the city streets were anticipated. But if the US wants to fight terrorism and is true to the cause of freedom and democracy then they cannot turn their back on Iraq otherwise its going to be another Vietnam.Whats done is done, the dictator is gone, yet his people have tasted their first drop of freedom and its poisoned them, the US has a long way to go before peace is re-installed in Iraq.Till then the soldiers have to be there....for the peace that is.

Now that we're there we pretty well have to stay. And though I hope we can have a major drawdown in the size of our forces in a year or two, we must realize that the shortest war of this type in recent history was a decade, and they often last twenty or thirty years.

Up till that element you may get recalled, its on your settlement...did no longer you study your settlement previously you signed it?
