There's no right or wrong regarding height...it's about your comfort level. And three months is not an age difference!!! Unless he's legally underage. You can wait the three months.

Is it right? If you really liked the kid it wouldn't matter to you how tall he was. By the question I assume you are in jr. high.... If you are that concerned by his height, don't waste his time

if you're on the thin side than anything goes. I would NOT want to date let alone marry a guy short enough to date my daughter.
