Just realize he's going to be as nervous about being a "step-dad" as you are a "step-daughter", get to know each other, and remember he and your mom know what they are talking about when they try and tell you what to do or not to do. Just love and accept him as that one that stole your mom's heart. Good Luck

First and foremost, be happy for your Mum. Once she's married, remember that your her first. Spend time with her, as much as you can... It pays off in the future. As for your step-dad, take it easy. Discover who he is day-by-day. Don't rush anything. Live life. (And be happy!)

He will try to make you happy if he's a good stepfather. Try to understand that things will change, it is all an adjustment but things can work out. Good luck.

Just take your time and try to get involved with his interests/hobbies--get to know him better. Be happy for your mom, and good luck.

talk to your mom tell her your concerns she will understand. My mom passed away and I know its hard seeing your parent with someone else sometimes. Just be yourself and be honest with the both of them. Most of all be true to yourself
