Coming from a guy who is rather shy, he may be totally intimidated by you. Being mean, he may be protecting his feelings . . . he may be totally into you but is scared to DEATH and cannot handle how he's feeling. Ignoring you is the same thing . . . it's a tough thing to like/love someone but not have the courage to admit. Perhaps due to past experiences where he was put down (not in relationships, even, just in life and doesn't feel like he could keep you). Are you a great conversationalist? People like you?
I would pose the question to him directly what you've posed to all of us . . . and good luck.

I reread this one twice and pondered. First off as a part time worker was it permanent position? If not she may not have returned to work either. You need to first find that out. Secondly buy a card that says I'm sorry. In it state that woman in your past are the cause of your out burst and its nothing she did. Third choice is a bit risky but in also in the card leave the link to this question so she can read it and understand where you are coming from. However as I said it's risky as you will be giving her access to whats on your mind and it may end up in the hands you don't want it to. But at least she gets to read why you went insane on her and the reason behind it and how it has left you feeling. Then ask her to respond to it. At least apologise to her even if she doesn't want to know you. If she hasnt returned to work then unless you track her down there isnt much you can do.

Only immature or dangerous guys mistreat/ignore women they like. If your friend is none of the above, my best guess is he's not interested in you

Wrong,Reminds me of myself.I would be nice to the girl I liked but did not want to be all over her like all the other guys. She would ask "are you ignoring me" I was like " never". This lead her to ask me out and then we got together.Would you want him if he was all over you and to nice to you.

This is a mild form of masochist. Love hate relations...if he likes you, he will treat you nicely..you will feel nicely and have happy thoughts. FORGET HIM!!

He could like you, but not as much as he thinks you like him.
Or he could be on drugs.
Or he could just simply not like you as a person.
