I believe it is Mecca.

Mumbai is Bombay, the NYC of India (according to my friend from Mumbai). Mecca is the city that Muslims bow toward when they pray.

Nope. We pray towards Mecca (Makkah) in Saudi Arabia. This direction is called ''Qibla''. And we don't pray at the city itself, but to the Kaaba. A black, cube shaped building constructed by Abraham.

All Muslims pray towards Mecca, Saudia Arabia. All we need is a compass to find out where we pray.
