Its not course or thick, its thinner and softer, less hair per square inch on your head. Every one has diff hair, some is thick fine hair, which means you have more thinner strands of hiar per sqaure inch on your head

compare a baby's(1month ~ 8month) hair(from the head) with your hair, measure with a micrometer & examine them under a microscope you'll seee the difference.
