Blind faith is an animal instinct and Christianity calls on Christians for their blind faith.

You cannot have faith without honesty and you are not honest with yourself when you believe in a mystery since a mystery can neither be understood nor explained.

You cannot even believe without some undertanding of what you believe.

To say you believe in a mystery would be to swear that you are absolutely blind, deaf and dumb.

Christians believe in a 3nity and they say its a 1ity and cannot hear themselves sound imbecilic.

Faith is believing in something or someone without needing proof or needing to see it. Example: the bible indicates that there is a God that created the world. I have faith that there is even though I can't prove it. Is it an animal instinct? I don't believe so.

An instinct - that's an fairly reasonable allegory for it, because it's a sort of knowledge and power that comes without any visible source.

I define it as the motivating power that leads us to act on our beliefs, especially when it's hard to do so.

I think everybody has faith, We us it everyday to function normally, for example I have faith that people aren't going to try to hit me with their cars while I drive to work. I don't know that for sure, but the faith of that motivates me to actually get in my car and drive.

But some people's faith is stronger than others because it takes practice and trials to develop. It's that whole "you have to take one step in the dark before it is illuminated" thing.

Faith is Spiritual Awareness:
It comes form Hearing The WORD of God. It is the Substance of things Hoped For. It is the Evidence of that which is not seen.

Why don't some people have it ? Because they are unaware of God's WORD, and fail to digest God's WORD.

Faith is a belief and trust in something outside one's self and outside of one's control. Almost all people have faith in something, whether its God or science or the stock market.

Faith is not as difficult as most make it out to be. Simply it is believing that something/someone will do what you expect or know that it will do before it actually does it. For example . . . . . before I sat down on my computer chair I had faith (I knew without any doubt) that it would hold up my weight and not collapse . . . . another example . . . . before I opened my eyes up this morning I had faith (I knew without any doubt) that I would be able to see. In reference to God, before I ask him for anything I know that he will do what he says in the Holy Bible he will do (I know this without any doubt because God cannot lie).
