Things for her basket.
Nail stick-ons, to decorate her nails.
Pretty bows, and hair clips. If she has lost her hair some fun scarves hats etc.
You can buy non scented creams, lotions etc at health food stores.
Some glitter for her skin, or stick on tattoos.
Fake stick on nails they come already painted too.
A little makeup bag
Some fun earrings, bright colors, clip ons.
Bracelets, a feather scarf, a music box. a pretty night gown or set of Pj's. a crazy drinking straw, (looped ) Anything that has color and fun in it. hospitals are gloomy. A poster of her favourite singer, actor etc.

Get her vitamin E tablets, poke and rub into nailsand nail bed, and nail bath, with good smelling hand soap to soak, moisturizing lotion in the same smell, a manicure set, a nail buffer- this will get the shine on the nails without the smell of nail polish. Get a cute scarf to fill in the space around the other gifts, and a clear tote with a lid to hold all the nail goodies together in one place when not in use. Have fun putting this gift together, hope my suggestions are helpful.

Sorry, I don't really have many ideas for that kind of thing. But i'm glad there are people like you out there that care enough to do things like this for those that are suffering. When my daughter went in for surgery on her neck my wife used low odor nail paint, nice new pair of pajamas, and a few homemade treats that she loves.

That is such a sweet idea! I applaud you for your kindness. I would say go to a store like Trade Secret and ask them for some ideas. Because I'm sure they have light scented or scent free products she can use and maybe even some nail polishes that will work well for her.

When my Mom was on chemo, and her hair fell out, her head would get cold while she was sleeping. I bought some baby cotton yarn and knitted her some caps to wear while she was sleeping to keep her little noggin warm. If you can't knit or crochet, maybe you can find her a warm cap to wear to bed.
Also, when you're on chemo, your gums bleed easily, so maybe you can get her some very soft children's toothbrushes.

i was a cancer patient as well and i can tell you i enjoyed getting anything. you could get her some do rags( i assume she has lost her hair), makeup: blush, eye shadow, lip gloss, a french manicure kit, a pretty nail file, a notebook and pen, and instead of putting it in a basket you could put it in a cute purse.

You are a great person. You could try to buy some small little figurines and them in?
