In theory, yes, but you'll get promoted faster in the Army and thus make more money than in the other services. Of course you also run a much better chance of losing rank if you screw up in the Army than in other branches. The reason for the faster promotions in the Army is that it has more people and percentage wise not as many stay in after their initial enlistment/commission, so there are more vacancies at the higher levels.

As you can tell by my airplane, I think the USAF has the best overall benefits, but I'm not talking financial.

Yes-Benefits as well as pay structure/retirement ect are the same for any branch of military......The Reserves and National Guard do differ from fulltimers though.

Yes they all have the same benefits. I have been in both Army and Air Force and there seems to be more travel opportunties in the Air Force

All US soldiers have the same pay with similar ranks. The difference is the place or nature of assignment wherein hazard pays and allowances are given as additional benefits.
