Dear Claire,

Yes, I not only have thought of Jesus Christ as my LORD and Savior but I DO think of Jesus Christ as my LORD and Savior.

Have you? I hope so. I wasn't sure whether you accidentally left out the "y" for your savior or whether you purposely put "our" to say that Jesus Christ is everybody's generic savior.

Only those people who accept Him in this life will be saved but ALL are invited to come to Him. He does NOT want anyone to be lost but everyone is lost until they personally accept Jesus Christ.

Absolutely. Without a doubt. In fact, that's what his name means. Jeus means savior. The other name that he was given (Emmanuel) means God With Us. When Mary and Joseph was told to name their son Jesus, they were told to do so because he would save the people from their sins.

As Jesus said, "I am with you always even unto the end of the world, Amen." Matthew 28:20

This verse is good enough for me. He is always with me.

I used to think he was my personal savior when I was a kid and went through my born again Christian phase. Now I just see him as a great teacher and historical figure that has been way too misunderstood and used as a reason for hate--and sometimes for good things.
