I dated this guy last winter, but we didn't last very long. We had been best friends first, and it made things weird between us. He liked me for a long time afterward, but wasn't into him. Now, almost a year later, I like him soooo much. He's got a girlfriend that he told a mutual he wouldn't break up with for me. He flirts with me a lot, and, last night, he hugged me godbye. That's nothing new,but he held me. You the difference between just hugging someone and holding them. He had his arms wrapped around my lower waist, and wouldn't let go. He even rescheduled a party he's had planned for weeks just so I could come. He keeps telling that friend that it's not gonna happen, but he acts like he still wants me. Do I go for it, or just hang back?

Tough call... I'm gonna say... hmmm... ah... What the h3ll is wrong with you? The only reason you want him is because you can't have him! Of course he still wants you, but you were too stupid to go for him when you had the chance. So go on, ruin his life by telling him that you like him, watch him dump his gf so you can ditch him two weeks later when you change your mind and wonder what the h3ll you were smoken!

as long as he has a girlfriend, you need to hang back. this could turn really ugly really fast if that girlfriend finds out hes holding other girls and flirting with them and getting involved, and most of the time, the girlfriend will put the blame on you. see if his word is true. if he really breaks up with the girlfriend for you, wait a little while (not really really long, just maybe a couple weeks) and then see where you guys end up. you guys could end up in a relationship or staying as friends, but at least you wont end up in with a buncha drama and in a catfight.

WOW! That is a really hard situation! What i would do is ask him. Say "why are you all up on me" or something like that. But say it as a joke. Laugh when you say it. So he'll probably say something like "cause i love you" if he says some something like that, then you know you should go for it. But give respect to his girlfriend. He isn't single you know. Guys always like to flirt(which i personally hate) but if he seems like he's interested, don't be afraid to go for the gold!
