I made this post yesterday :There is a guy who works at this place that I frequent and I like him. He is the owners nephew and the owner and employees always harass us about going out with each other since they see that we're "perfect" for each other. I really like him and would love to go out with him sometime but he's shy and would never ask me even if he did like me. Should I ask him?
I'm going to do it but now I'm not sure how to go about it. What should I say and what should we do? What do I do if I go into the store and hes not there? The workers would ask me what I wanted. eek! I'm stressing out. Thanks for all the help.

ASK HIM.... start a converation and maybe start with something simple like coffee or a movie with friends, but i would advise against making it public, more drama, if he's not there then just maybe buy something to look unsuspicious.

The next time you go in there for whatever reason and he's working, start a conversation. If you think he's shy and won't ask you, then you ask him. There is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out. Ask him to dinner out or at your house. Nothing real fancy. That way maybe he'll relax and you two can get to know each other better.

My friend is in this situation also. I think you two should discuss it with each other. :)
I think that you should invite this lad to a game or something and claim that everybody that you know is busy. That's what I told my friend to do but I doubt she'll do it since my dating record is that of an infant. I'm so terrible with lads.

If you aren't the serious emotional type then do it casually as if you two would only be quieting the harassment and say... you know we should get together if only to get "them" to shut up. Hand him your number on a piece of paper that says "call me".
