I know He died for my sins. He changed my life in an instant over 36 years ago and has kept me ever since. When Jesus comes back the next time, it will be to gather His people to himself and judge the enemies of God. Jesus is a Savior to those who put their trust in Him, but He is the worst nightmare of the wicked and unrepentant. (see Matthew 25:31-46, II Thessalonians 1:6-10; Revelation 6:12-17 and 19:11-21

Yes and no. I believe that Jesus died to save us from our sins and is waiting to come back to finish what he started. The past is just that and he will leave it there.
Read the Gospel accounts Jesus himself tells us what to look for and what it will be like. Also, while confusing, Revelation tells more of what the returning Messiah will be like. Less lamb and more lion next time around.

Repeat the past? Christ is coming to collect his faithful, judge between the living and the dead, and present the world to His Father.

Yep, I believe Jesus died for our sins and I believe he will return but not to die again! He will come as a fulfillment of the prophecy in the book of Revelation. He will pass Judgment and claim his bride (i.e. the Church).

If you believe that; I have a bridge to sell.
Jesus died because the Romans wanted him dead. They feared he would start a revolt against the Roman occupation, and Rome had willing accomplices ie the priests that he was offending because of the miracles, and teaching the people they were living under the Grace of God and the Law of Moses did not have to be followed, and the priests were afraid they would have to get a real job.

I believe he is coming back...not to repeat the past but to place a final judgment on everybody. A good day that will be (not trying to impose religion on you or anything)

No repeating in history, fren. He will come for His faithful people to Heaven, and leave behind all the rebellious sinners to go thru the tribulation.

Not in your life time, I can assure you he is not coming back. The disciples also thought he would return in their life times and it didn't happen, man has predicted Christs coming for over 2000 years now, and will continue to predict his coming for another two or three thousand years, put your faith in God because that's who you will answer to on your death bed, and that goes for all humans. May God bless all those souls who have gone astray.

Can you expound on the repeat the past thing? I'm not sure what you mean there.
But yes, died to save us from our sins - I'm with you there.
