My 4 year old has red dots under one eye (and just a little/subtle under the other). The spots are not on the rim, just under though in the crease and the skin around the immediate area is a bit red too. I asked if it was itchy and they said no. It seems like an allergy to me - any ideas of what it is or whats causing it if its an allergy?

It could be anything from dry skin to a rash to an infection. Try putting a dab of hydrocortizone creme on them and see if it helps. If so, then it is most likely a rash caused by some sort of allergy. (Not all rashes itch.) If not, then seek medical advice.

Best wishes for your child!

Alexis, There are over a thousand possible causes for small pink spots. Without the chance to examine or have a verbal exchange, there is no point in continuing. The best recourse, if the matter is of concern, is to attend the emergency department of your local hospital and have the spots examined by a medical practitioner. ALL ANSWERS SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY RESEARCHED, IN ANY FORUM AND ESPECIALLY IN THIS ONE. MANY ANSWERS ARE FLAWED. The information provided here should not be used during any medical emergency or for the diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition. A licensed physician should be consulted for diagnosis and treatment of any and all medical conditions. Hope this helps matador 89
