Do you consider a hug and a kiss on the cheek from a guy who has been your best friend for 5 years as cheating?
I don't really think it is but my boyfriend disagrees!

Yes it is cheating. You a like a piece of baccon, and your and your boyfriend are like a puppies. You don't go trying to smell, touch, lick or steal another puppies piece of baccon. If you are lucky your boyfriend will learn to share with your friend.

Its really not. Cheating would have been an all out kissfest. A kiss on the cheek is a sign of friendship and he needs to find something else to do other than create an issue out of a friendly kiss. On the cheek of all places.

A hug and a kiss on the cheek... no I wouldn't consider that cheating, but if your boyfriend DOES think it's cheating there are bigger issues here.

If that's your best friend, and best friend only, then your boyfriend shouldn't have a problem with that. It's his insecurities. Now, out of respect for your boyfriend, if he doesn't want you kissing him, then you really should respect that even if you don't agree with him. Because making your bf or gf happy is part of having a trusting and loving relationship.

As long as you and this guy are truly just friends and that guy friend of yours doesn't have alterior motives then I wouldn't think it was cheating. Sounds like your boyfriend may be a tad jealous or have insecurities or troubling trusting people. Try talking with him about it.

if you two are strictly best friends, there's nothing wrong with it AT ALL.
i think your boyfriend just may be a little jealous.

well, I don't think it's acceptable for him to kiss you on the cheek but, a hug shouldn't be a problem.

If it was cheating why would your friend do it in front of your boyfriend! I think he's just paranoid but its okay just show him he's the only man in your world.

I do not consider this cheating but I could see why it would make your bf uncomfortable. Just put your self in his shoes. It is important for you to make sure that he is comfortable. I am sure you would apreciate the same from him.

I could see it causing some jealousy in your boyfriend, but I don't consider it cheating.
