These are traditionally done at Christmas, and given as gifts. The dishtowel is the "base".

I used to sell the blank ones as well as the patterns when I worked at AC Moore in NJ. I think Dimensions made patterns; of course these were counted patterns and not stamped. You can also try Janlynn and DMC.
