I have first hand experience that bending time is possible.

You can have your opinion; and I will take my first hand experience.

To do to; you WILL have to be able to hold your mental focus on one thing a lot longer than the traditional 10 seconds or so.

Well, we do have relativity, which thus far has proven correct. (I learned not long ago that higher-quality GPS units correct for relativity, which I found interesting.)

ETA: For some more fun with time-bending, I highly recommend Stephen Hawking's The Universe in a Nutshell.

Time is directly effected by gravity.

This has been proven by Einstein in his Laws of Relativity.

Well, science shows it, and they've also proved that distance can distort time as well.
