That sounds like Eczema to me (also known as Dermatitis) This is not a big problem, but you do need go to your doctor and they will give you a prescription for something called Cortisone cream. You rub it on the area and it will make it go away in about a week or so. Sometimes it will come back and you just use the cream as soon as you notice it starting to happen again and if you catch it early, it will be gone in days. No amount of moisturizer will fix this and rubbing the areas and trying to take off the flaking skin can actually irritate it more. Also, ask your doctor about what may be causing it for you, it's not necessarily your make-up or soap, it could be something in your diet or something in your environment.
Good Luck!

It sounds like you might be having an allergic reaction to something you put on your face. Did you change cleanser or makeup or did you use something that you haven't used in a long time? Try some hydrocortisone cream and/or some ice or take a benadryl and if it doesn't start to go down in about a half hour call your doctor. And definitely put down the acne cleanser for now, it's probably way too harsh for you right now.

Winter can do that...a humidifyer can help put some moisture in the air and help...as can drinking plenty of water and using something like aloe vera gel to help bring some moisture back into the skin. If that doesn't work talk to a doctor.

Grab some severe moisturizer. You need it! The cold and heat can really mess up your skin. Try Aveeno lotion. It's the best. Good luck!

Increase your water intake. You may just be slightly dehydrated in which case your body will "rob" other parts of your body to get what it needs, resulting in dry skin, dry, brittle hair and nails, etc...Also, incorporate more good fats into your diet like avocados and nuts. Those oils do wonders for your skin.
