I think it's a rule - everyone in North Carolina must race something or know someone personally who does. Drag racing in NC is huge. There are tracks all over NC and SC.

I am sure that they do however when I lived in Hendersonville, NC anyone who went drag racing went down to Greer, SC. It is about an hour drive from the Hendersonville, Asheville area.
