About 1 in 7 people get appendicitis during their life and need to have their appendix removed. It's one of the commonest operations, and these days leaves little scarring if you get in early.

I dont know what the odds are, but I had mild pains for 2 weeks until the doctors relized that my appendix had already been busted. I was in the hospital for over a month because of infections and what not. Had three surgeries and 2 blood transfusions.....I almost died, but i only have a shitty scar now Just ask your doctor about having it removed, i thinks its possible to have it removed even if u dont have appendicitis

appendicitis is a condition where your appendix being inflamed.I used to experience it myself b4.honestly its very debilitated. The pain came in sudden and I cant even move my leg especially my right one.I also caught fever, vomiting the urge to defecate but I just cant do it.it was really, really AWFUL and there was just a thougt of die in my head at the moment. My parent brought me 2 the nearest hospital and the Dr there decided to remove my appendix. But it did not stop there. The pain after underwent the surgery was just as terrible as B4.I cant even sleep at night, talking and laughing.2 make the condition worst was i allergic to the anesthethic drug given during the operation.i cant stop caughing after the operation and it made my pain became worst. It was like hell in world for me that time.Im not trying to frightening U but it was what really happen to me.But it doesnt mean that U will experien the same think If U get appendicitis.it depend on How bad ur condition are. So if U have some of the symptoms like vomiting, fever and abdominal pain, please quikcly see ur Dr. and let him or her determine what is really ur problem.Early detection will help at least in reducing ur suffering. Some people may say that this is a very common procedure but actually it is fatal if people dont handle it in a right way.So stay alert!!

why would you be afriad of that? I think it's a common thing but not too common. Both my father, when he was younger, before i was born and my brother had appendicitis. My brother's was the result of a car accident. I wouldn't really worry about it.

Why would you think you'd need to get them removed in the future? I wouldn't be dwelling on it! The odds of you having to have your appendix removed, wouldn't be any higher than your tonsils, or gall bladder. If it has to be done, and YOU'LL KNOW, there is nothing you can do. It's a very common procedure, and you'll be in and out........just that quick!!
