i really like this boy and my friend who is supposed to be hooking us up says that he does like me, but has a girlfriend and needs a week to think about. well that was a week ago!! what should i do!

Put yourself in his girlfriends place! He's stringing you along, using her and if you went out with him, he'd show you no respect either. Even if he finishes with her - tell him to take a hike.

You could tell your friend to ask him again and see what happens(don't seem to desperate), if that doen't work you could forget about it or make him jealous and go out with somebody else. There's a big chance that he remembered and hopes that u get the point or he just forgot.Because it depends how much he likes his current girlfriend is to him, cause if he's gonna replace her than he's gonna want u to mean a lot to him, too. He does have a lot to think about. But u don't need him to mess up your grades and education. So u need to focus on dat, too.

Sweetie, we can't "force" our Will on others. If we really, really like someone all we can do is show it - sweetly and cleanly. People know when we like them. Sometimes they get interested in us because we like them! It's flattering to them. Sometimes, they are "involved" already and all we can do is wait and see if they are "free" in the future. If they become "free" we can show them again that we like them. They may then decide to spend some time with you and see if they feel the same way about you. If they do - great ! IF they don't - move on no matter what you feel. We can't "OWN" people. Not even when we are married to them. Everyone has their own thoughts. Everyone has their own feelings. We can't force any relationships.
If a week has gone by and no response from him, then he is saying he prefers to do nothing - at this time. His interest is elsewhere - at the moment.
Never play games with other people : Jealousy games, trying to break up other couples, trying to hold on to someone who wants to go away from us - none of that should ever be done. Never !
Your friend has told him you would like to go out with him. He has Free Will to decide if HE wants to also - or not , at this time.
Maybe never. Always smile, be friendly, and while you are looking your best and acting your best, someone else may spot you and take you out. Maybe, you will decide you like him too!
Our lives never depend on one single person. Sometimes it might feel like it does - but it doesn't. We always have ourselves to care about and take care of - if we believe we are valuable. We can find our own interests to fill our time.
We attract those we are meant to be with. Those we do not attract - belong with someone else. This is how we learn to become adult.

I know this is not what you want to hear but im going to tell you anyways. WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER GIRL? How do you think she would feel if her man left her to be with someon else? Even if he did leave her for you what makes you think you will last? The same setuation can happen to you. Then how would you feel? Because the only reason he would be leaving her is probbaly because he thinks your better looking which, would be a extremely shallow reason. You see i dont beleive in better looking if your attractive your attractive. My advice would be to move on and find someone who is available be wise though about your deccision. Let me answer your question naw the reason he probbaly didnt answer you is because h'es oviously happy with his current partner. I applaude him for not leaving her to be with someone he considered more attractive because like i said that would be shallow.

Go to school and get an education and stop thinking about boys becasue all they want to do is f--- you. Nothing more. used to be a boy my self and I have a sixteen yr old daughter and has tried to tell her. She won'ts to learn for herself thoguh. You should back off this guy, it's not fair to try and push him, you've made it known that you like now the ball is in his court, if he thinks you're a better match then his current gf he will take care of it.
