Come to Chicago, and sample the small batch special brews brewmaster Greg Hall has made for Goose Island Brewery. I've tried the Imperial Brown Goose ( 8% alcohol, comes in a wine bottle ), the Demolition Ale ( also 8%, commemorates the demolition of the building the original brewery was attached to some 10 years ago ), an Imperial IPA at 9%, Bourbon County Stout ( 9%) and a Belgian style. Each has been superb, and perfect for the cooler weather up here in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Goose ( as its known ) has always had some great beers and food to go with it. See:

As I somewhat have already written, that's an unanswerable question when you consider that no one ought to attempt each and each and every of the beers contained in the international to guage them. Even to attempt each and each and every of the beers brewed contained in the united kingdom (round 3,500) will be an complete-time job for a pair of years, by which period there would doubless be some extra. Goose Island has been stated as an excellent beer and that i agree. purely right sampled from the cask on the brewery, even with the actual incontrovertible reality that their bottled beers are impressive. different astounding beers accessible contained in the u . s . contain Fullers 1845 (uk); Dogfish Head (u . s .); Unibraue (Canada). the straightforward guidelines for looking an exceptional beer are: a million. ward off something you've considered extensively marketed - in problem-free words the brewers of garbage beers ought to spend thousands of thousands to cajole human beings to drink their junk. 2. do no longer purchase something that's served from a luridly lit font wearing a nicely-common call. 3. in case you'll locate handpumped beer, opt for that. 4. when you're searching for beer in a liquor save, wend your well previous the serried ranks of cans of Dudweiser, Swiller and Curse and seem on the lower back cabinets. 5. in no way purchase canned beer. 6. choose beers with names you've in no way heard of. Your seek for for the purely right beer will in no way end - yet by golly you'll have some relaxing looking.

I'm a fan of spitfire, it's a good beer from Kent. Used to be a fan of heiniken, but they decided to cut back on quality and only produced the stronger stuff. All they make now is the 5% stuff which is nowhere near as god as the old 3.2% stuff.

I really really like Leine's Honeyweiss.
It's made in Wisconsin and if you squeeze just a bit of lemon juice in it... it might make you cream your pants.

Beer suks and tastes like crap. Beer is for cheap people and cheap drunks. Drink a mans drink and have a shot of Crown Royal from the top shelf or mix it with a soda.
