check with your doctor, but consider an allergic reaction caused by shampoo/conditioner; any cream you are applying to her face; food allergy; or reaction to detergent.

Yes, it souds like eczema. It is when the skin multiplies like 40X faster than it's supposed to. The extra layers get dry, flaky, and very red. They need natural lotion with aloe. Vitamin E is great for it. I have it an tan because that puts Vit. E in your skin. But, obviously it wouldn't be wise for a 4 year old to tan. Go to Wal-Mart and grab a thick natural oat lotion. Also, stress can increase this, but hopefully at their age, this isn't a problem. Good luck. Also, check out www.webmd.com for some tips.

probably needs to see a Dermatoglist but, until you can get an appt use Benadryl for Kids sounds like a allergy. For dry skin use cool water when bathing and J&J soap then use Mineral Oil (a little) then pad down dry don't rub the towl in to dry just use a little Oil before drying like a lotion but, not too much.

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/dryskin.html
