Yes to both questions. I'll have a real group of critters around me when I arrive.

Animals do have have souls. How anyone can think that an intelligent animal will merely cease to exist just thinks wrong!
I believe all pets will be in heaven and of course they will remember you.

Yes, I certainly believe that!!! If we believe the creator of heaven and earth can perform miracles in any way the Lord chooses.
This is the same Lord who made a donkey speak in the Book of Numbers 22:21-39 when Balaam disobeyed God's instruction.
The very same God protected the prophet Daniel in the lions den(Daniel 6:1-28) for his obedience to the Lord and not worshiping King Darius as a pagan god.
Those who love and claim Christ as their savoir and God he has promised in his Word----Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
How more easier is it for the Lord to raise our beloved pets from the dead, than Jesus Christ, Lazarus and others found in the Bible.
"For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37
If animals are not in heaven explain this verse found in Revelation 19:11-15.
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter."[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Kids ask me that question alot, and I always tell them that anything is possible with God. Basically, what does it hurt to help them deal with upcoming or current grief. I mean we tell them there's a Santa Claus and an Easter Bunny and a Tooth Fairy, so why do we sweat so much trying to be legalistic and correct on every topic or question?

I believe our pet's energy does survive death, but not in the same way our souls survive death. So, yes, I believe we will meet up with them. And, I think they'll remember us in the same manner we remember them in their own personalities....same on both sides.

I hear pets do not have a soul, so will not be in heaven. But I hope this is wrong. I love all my cats and hope to see them some day.

I believe I'll meet my dead pets in heaven. I also believe I'll meet Santa the next time I visit the North Pole. I'm also hoping to run into the Easter Bunny at a county fair someday.

I don't think some of the pets we had as kids want to meet up with me. I used to dress them up in my dollies' clothes and make them stay in the carriage
