Does anyone know what brand of digital camera from experience is the best to buy with great picture clarity that is easy to use and is not to costly?

Canon is far and away the technological leader, but Kodak and Panasonic make decent more affordable models. Sony cameras are overpriced.

I just got mine .I had asked this question a few weeks ago & he said Cannon 5 or 6 megapixels.I just bought a cannon with 10 MP's .When I studed for three days, I wanted all the goodies,like the sound & movie (mjepg I think) anyway Overstock.com have some great buys on them.check it out.I paid 300.00 without a printer or a kit.It comes with all the hook-ups& a disc to install.It will take some time studing the manual to be able to send onthe internet for my stuff to sell.That is part of the fun.Learning to do something New,because I am retired & have the time to do this now. Hope you find a good and easy one for your use.Have fun with!Some have a bonus of a 524{ this # may be 512?} card that may be offered .I looked for this so as to have lot of room to film.
