Depressed!!!!?
I am in 8th grade. I wear my hair down all the time. I alwyas look at all my friends they put their hair up in ponytails and all that, but how come i cant? i mean, i look okay with it down. but my face features look soooo disgusting whenever i put it up or do anything with it besides it all down. whats wrong with me? by the way i still havent done my eyebrows or waxed mmy upper lip .... am i really ugly though? why can ti put my hair up? im so depressed im disgustingly hideous.

well maybe you would feel more confedent about yourself if you maybe got side bangs, if you think all your hair pulled back looks bad. i am in 8th grade 2, & i don't wax my eyebrows, i just pluck the stray 1's that look bad.

If your hair looks bad when its put up, then compromise: wear it half up. You could do "the poof", which basically consists of taking a small section of hair from right above your forehead, pulling it straight back, then pushing it up just a bit until it's puffed up. Then, secure it near the back of the head with bobby pins. Be sure to have your upper lip waxed, as society isn't too forgiving when it comes to women with body hair. It's best that you go to a professional (at least for the first time you wax) for you eyebrows and upper lip. I'd tell you to not care about society's opinions, but truth be told, you can't get anywhere without some amount of manipulation, conformity, and courage.

You're in 8th grade which means you see an exaggeration of everything imperfect about yourself when you look in the mirror. You probably look cute with your hair up. Ask your parent to take you out and have your eyebrows and upper lip done, and be confident. Ask your best friend for an opinion and some help. Girls do that kinda stuff for each other. You're not disgustingly hideous. I can tell.

No, u r probably not. I always think that about myself, but it turns out to not be true cuz guys like me. So dont say that. Yes, I've been where u are. If u think in between your eyebrows needs waxing or plucking, then fix them up. (I recommend plucking) Start by just doing in between ur eyebrows. And for your lip, just by a cheap hair bleach, u can get one at kroger. If u think u look ugly, and u put your head down all the time, that gives people the impression that you aren't confident. Smile, Stand high, be proud of who u are, and I garuntee you'll soon be surrounded by people.

BTW, maybe an updo just isn't for you. Maybe u need to get a haircut. If so, go to google (not images) and look up haircuts. Click on as many links as you need to. A lot of sites have pictures you can print out and show them to a hair stylist for her to cut it like that. Hope I helped! And hold your head high, girl, cuz I believe in u!!!!

Sweetness...calm down...8th grade is such a FUN year...yeah right. Listen...try pulling only part of your hair up...play with it. Go to a beautician with your mom, and have her help you experiment with some different looks. We all have features we like and do not like. I always hate the way I look in shorts, and do not feel comfortable wearing them when others are wearing Daisy Dukes. So, work with the beauty God gave you on the outside...but, focus on the heart. That is most important...being a good person, and a good friend to others. Have a slumber party with your best gal pals and do makeovers together...have some real fun, okay?

you are so young and to an 8th grader small issues are so big and you will look back when you are older and laugh..as far as your hair goes maybe try a lower pony tail or use a clip and up sweep it..the next time you go get your hair cut ask the stylist to try different things with your hair..and so what if your friends wear their hair up, it doesnt mean they are any prettier, just relax, try different hairstyles and dont stress, and do your eyebrows if tyou want go to a professional to have them done though

not everyone looks good with their hair up and all pulled away from their face, sometimes that can look severe/harsh. Try a bit of bangs, or consider a shorter cut that you can then pull back the sides for a switch.

Good Gracious! Eight years old and worried about your looks? It is perfectly normal for youngsters to be unhappy with their looks. You look fine.
Everyone looks different and everyone is attracted to another person because of different things. Not everyone can look like a hot babe or a real attractive man. One thing for sure, you are what you are and you can do very little to change that. Please concentrate on improving those things that you can change. Be nice to yourself.

you can always chose what you want. it really doesn't matter what other people say. its just you who cares too much about what other people say. i don't wax my eye brows either. just do what you want.
