Lying about a crime is ILLEGAL. It's not unconstitutional. It's worng and because someone lied, someone died.

It is not unconstitutional but it is illegal. If it is done in court it is Perjury and possibly Contempt of Court. If it is done at the point of reporting a crime it is called "Falsely Reporting an Incident". Civil liabilities could come into play if the lie caused harm and public embarassment to someone and that is called "Slander".

Not unconstitutional, but most likely illegal. However, if the personal accused has committed suicide, it doesnt matter as they are already dead.
