i was telling my guy friend that personality is the most important things about someone likeing you. and he asked me if his personality attracted me. and i told him i dont know him very well but i do find his personality attractive but i told him that i didnt know if it was right because i went on three dates with his best friend. and he said no that certainly isnt right. and he said we could be friends. what does this mean? and was he just saying that so he whouldent make me feel bad

He may have just been asking to get a female perspective on his personality. Maybe he likes you. But sounds like he has respect for his best friend, so you should just drop it and stay friends. So everyone is happy.

Um...he can care less about the way you feel....he is a guy. chances are he likes you and that was a test to see if you like him. You failed, of course, and he will now accept you as just a friend. He also could have had a bit low self esteem and wanted a little pick me up.

You didn't give the right answer so he backed down.
If you like him tell him if you only see him as a friend tell him. Be prepared if he has the hots for you, he may not be around you much as i will be to painfull for him.

It could be if you were not dating his friend that maybe you two could date, but it is totally not cool to date friends. That would just cause drama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
